Letter from the vicar 31 Jan 2021

Dear Reader,

For the attention of those who wish to physically attend services at St. Barnabas Church

The Covid 19 pandemic continues to be a serious health risk. Therefore, we would discourage those who are shielding, or are clinically extremely vulnerable, from physically attending our church services. We also draw to everyone’s attention that, in addition, to the Sunday online services, we are open at other times each week, (when there are fewer people present):

  • Sunday at 8.00am –  Communion (Book of Common Prayer)
  • Wednesday at 10.00am – Communion (Common Worship)
  • Thursday 9.00-10.30am – Private Prayer

As a parish church we are here for you and for the community. But before physically attending a service, please consider carefully your own personal safety, and the safety of others. In particular, if you are showing any symptoms of the virus, then please follow all government guidelines which can be found at: www.gov.uk/coronavirus
Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance and supportFind information on coronavirus, including guidance, support, announcements and statistics.

Every prayer and blessing

Revd Derek Chandler
