Thanksgiving service for Linda Dudley: Friday 20th June at 12 noon. All welcome, please wear bright colours, a live stream will be available at cavershammethodist.org.uk.
Eco tip: This week is Great Big Green Week, a nationwide event encouraging us to think carefully about our impact on the earth. One way is to shop more locally and taste the benefits of seasonal and local food. The True Food Coop sells salad vegetables and fruit that hasn't travelled thousands of miles. Why not give them a try?
Read All About It, If you have any items for the July edition, please send to Christine Bartlett by 20th June. pccsec@saintbarnabas.org.uk
Garden Party: Saturday 12th July, 2pm. Donations of unwanted gifts (suitable as prizes for the side stalls), bottles, handicrafts, and preserves are all welcome. If in doubt, please speak to Wendy Howell. Cakes to be brought on the day please, with a list of ingredients. Offers of help to set up, run a stall and clear away are much appreciated. There is a box in the parish centre to leave any donations. Thank you, Wendy.
Audio Visual enhancements. During June, Guy Watt will complete the work. This includes upgrading our camera, an additional ‘ambient’ microphone, upgrading our IT equipment and relocating controls at the back of church. This should improve the livestream experience for operators and viewers alike.
Diocese of Oxford Annual Review. Available to read online and a few paper copies at the back of church. A helpful overview of how the Diocese supports the work of parishes.
Regular giving to St Barnabas. We are entirely self-funded, if you consider St Barnabas is your home church, please support our mission and ministry. The best way is to give regularly through the Parish Giving Scheme by clicking here. Or see the ‘Giving’ page on our website. Ask Richard Cunningham (our treasurer) or Revd Kevin for further details.
