The Encouragers at Greyfriars 700

On Saturday 9th July The St Barnabas Encouragers helped Greyfriars Church celebrate their 700th anniversary.  Jessie and Harry, with the help of Brother Francis, told the story of Greyfriars history.  They then heard Richard, with the help of the stick puppet team, tell the story of Abraham and Sarah which demonstrates that the Church is about the people not the building and how we are all part of God’s family.

Thanks to everyone for making this a great success: all the puppeteers, Julie and Alison for the script, Margaret for the stick puppets and costumes and John for the pictures.  Thanks also to the people from St Barnabas who turned up to support us and Greyfriars for inviting us.
