THE ENCOURAGERS

‘The Encouragers’ is the name of our puppet group and refers to the role played by our Patron Saint, Barnabas, in encouraging the spread of the gospel.  The group was formed in 2008.

Our creative ministry, which also includes drama and music, uses the talents of people of all ages, working together as a team, to tell bible stories and secular tales with moral themes in a way that reaches all age groups.  As well as our church family, we have given presentations to local schools and other local churches.

Our most recent appearance was at the Greyfriars Church 700th anniversary celebrations on 9th July in Reading. All of the pictures of that event can be found here
