Confirmation

Confirmation is as it says.  You are confirming your faith, particularly if you were baptized as an infant.  Confirmation normally leads to full sacramental membership of the Church of England.  That normally means you can then receive communion – the bread and wine shared by Christians to remember the Last Supper of Jesus.  This is so significant that confirmation is only done by a bishop.

Confirmation classes normally take place at St. Barnabas Church in the autumn of each year. They cater for young people or adult groups depending upon the circumstances. Discussion takes place through an informal, friendly atmosphere, where each participant’s contribution is valued and affirmed. If you are interested in exploring your faith more fully through confirmation then please speak to the vicar on 0118 9478239 or click the picture below.
