New ‘silver surfer’ sessions

EXTRA DATES ADDED!

The World Wide Web and Email is no longer just a young person’s game.  ‘Silver Surfer’ computer courses are starting soon in the Parish Centre aimed at teaching older people the basics – from word processing and email to online shopping and using price comparison websites.

There are regular sessions designed for people with little or no computer experience:

  • ‘try-it’ sessions as a part of the Friday afternoon Tea and Company Fellowship
  • more formal computer familiarisation sessions now TWICE a month on the second and fourth Thursday from 10.00am to 11.30am. Please Note The New Times.

For more details please talk to Elizabeth Gash or Robin Kent.
